I woke up this morning and realized that all night long I had dreamed of HONEY!  Eating honey on bread with butter, dipping bread into honey, and even drinking it; I shared honey with several people in my dreams as well.  As the Lord brought it back to me, I understood the spiritual significance is something He desired to show me.  So, I dug in to read, and then heard this,

Sweet Honey!  My word is dripping with goodness!  THIS you shall share with many, and on to bigger and better things, this honey will always keep you strong.  As you show forth My goodness to all you meet, I will show forth My goodness to you.

Even in the lean times, when you fear you have lost Me, understand that I will always drip My goodness over your life.  You can never lose sight of Me, as I AM everywhere you are!  Go with this good knowledge of wisdom and My glorious power over you – HONEY is the first fruits offering of your life.

You give your sweetness to Me to make sweeter in the understanding of WHO I AM.  I will make you strong.  I will make you worthy of your calling.  I will do all that is good in your life and so it will serve to glorify ME alone!  Roll in it!  Cover yourself with My sweet presence; my OIL of anointing, the sweetness of My Words and the BREAD of all LIFE.  Receive and Give to all you meet.  In THIS way, they will KNOW that I AM the very presence of all that is GOOD in their life.

This is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost; the three in one LIVING Triune God;  Honey, Bread and Oil.  He is amazing, really!  Isn’t HE?

In Isaiah 7:14-15, the delight of honey is found in these words;  “A virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us).  Butter and honey shall He eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good.”

Then, further in the same chapter of Isaiah 7:22, ‘It shall come to pass for the multitude of milk that they shall yield, he shall eat butter; and butter and honey shall everyone eat that is life in the midst of the land.”  This speaks of the Lord’s Kingdom; spiritual good and all that is pleasant, happy, and delightful!

As I looked on, I found many references, all speaking of the goodness of God and offering spiritual sweetness to us!  Deuteronomy 32:13 says, “Thou makes him ride on the high places of the earth, and he eats the produce of the fields.  He makes him suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flint of the rock.”  Here, as with Moses, He is saying He causes us to obtain truths of knowledge of the goodness of God, the ROCK.

Other scripture references that speak directly of the manna, honey and oil, all directly representing God’s goodness in truth and the delight of knowing Him are many; John 6:51, 58; Matthew 3:4, and Mark 9:11-13, also Luke 1:17; Ezekiel 3:3, but I will close with this from Revelation 10:9-11.  I believe we are in these times.  Seek the Lord on it for yourself.  He is faithful to answer when we call on Him.

Revelation 10 (NLT)

The Angel and the Small Scroll
10 “Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, surrounded by a cloud, with a rainbow over his head. His face shone like the sun, and his feet were like pillars of fire. 2 And in his hand was a small scroll[a] that had been opened. He stood with his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. 3 And he gave a great shout like the roar of a lion. And when he shouted, the seven thunders answered.

4 When the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Keep secret what the seven thunders said, and do not write it down.”

5 Then the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand toward heaven. 6 He swore an oath in the name of the one who lives forever and ever, who created the heavens and everything in them, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it. He said, “There will be no more delay. 7 When the seventh angel blows his trumpet, God’s mysterious plan will be fulfilled. It will happen just as he announced it to his servants the prophets.”

8 Then the voice from heaven spoke to me again: “Go and take the open scroll from the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

9 So I went to the angel and told him to give me the small scroll. “Yes, take it and eat it,” he said. “It will be sweet as honey in your mouth, but it will turn sour in your stomach!” 10 So I took the small scroll from the hand of the angel, and I ate it! It was sweet in my mouth, but when I swallowed it, it turned sour in my stomach.

11 Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”

I will continue to share as I am given to share, and pray that God shows us each and all what He has for us in our individual and collective call.  YOU have an individual mission and WE have a collective mission as the BODY of CHRIST.  It is our responsibility to seek Him on these.  I say this with nothing but love for the body of Christ.  Pray for me as I am always praying for you.

With love & belief, Jill
